Getting started

Plans and limits

One request is one tool call in Claude or ChatGPT, or one API call. Usage resets every month. The MCP server and the REST API share one allowance.
Standard · $78/month billed yearly ($935/year) or $89 billed monthly · 1 user
10,000 requests a month (up to 1,000 a day)
Premium · $218/month billed yearly ($2,615/year) or $249 billed monthly · Up to 3 users
50,000 requests a month (up to 5,000 a day)

On yearly billing the requests are still a monthly allowance: it resets every month of the year, on the same day of the month as your start date. A top-up adds 10,000 requests for $29, one time. Unused top-up requests end with the current monthly allowance period. Enterprise, larger teams or bulk data: talk to us. Compare plans.

Cancel any time in Account → AI & API: Cancel plan keeps access until the end of the period you paid for, or use Manage billing (the Creem billing portal). Removing the connector from Claude or ChatGPT does not cancel the subscription.

What counts#

Counts as one request
Each MCP tools/call; each REST call to an endpoint.
Free
MCP initialize, ping and tools/list; GET /api/intel/v1 (the endpoint list); OAuth calls; refused requests.
Daily cap
Resets at midnight UTC. It only stops runaway scripts: 1,000 on Standard, 5,000 on Premium.
Monthly allowance
Resets every month: at the start of each monthly billing period, or on yearly billing on the same day each month as the start date.
Burst limit
600 requests a minute per person. Wait a minute and retry.

Usage headers#

Every reply (MCP and REST) carries the current usage:

X-RateLimit-Limit
The limit that applies right now: the daily cap, or the monthly allowance when that is closer.
X-RateLimit-Remaining
Requests left under that limit.
X-RateLimit-Reset
Seconds until that limit resets.
X-Usage-Month-Limit / -Used / -Resets
Requests included this billing period (top-ups added), used so far, and when the period ends (ISO 8601).
X-Usage-Day-Limit / -Used / -Resets
The daily cap, used today, and the next reset (midnight UTC).
Retry-After
Only on 429: seconds until you can call again.
Example
HTTP/1.1 200 OK
X-RateLimit-Limit: 1000
X-RateLimit-Remaining: 958
X-RateLimit-Reset: 31244
X-Usage-Month-Limit: 10000
X-Usage-Month-Used: 2411
X-Usage-Month-Resets: 2026-12-01T00:00:00.000Z
X-Usage-Day-Limit: 1000
X-Usage-Day-Used: 42
X-Usage-Day-Resets: 2026-11-08T00:00:00.000Z

When a limit is reached#

REST replies 429 limit_reached with Retry-After. Over MCP the tool returns a short message saying which limit was reached and when it resets, so the assistant can tell you. Your account page has a live meter and the top-up button.
