1.About this policy
This Refund Policy is part of our Terms of Service. It applies to documents bought on FDA Intel, which is operated by Cortex Group ("we", "us").
Every purchase is processed by our payment provider, which acts as our online reseller and Merchant of Record. We decide whether a request qualifies under this policy, and our payment provider processes the refund to your original payment method.
2.Immediate delivery and your right to cancel
Documents are digital content supplied immediately after payment. At checkout you tick a box to ask for immediate access to your download and to acknowledge that you lose any right to cancel once it is available.
If you live in the European Union, the United Kingdom or another country that gives consumers a cooling-off period for online purchases, this means you lose your statutory right of withdrawal once the download is made available to you, because you asked for the digital content to be supplied straight away and acknowledged that loss.
3.When we will put it right
We will help if, within the request window:
- the file is corrupt or unreadable and we cannot give you a working copy;
- the document is materially different from its description on FDA Intel, for example it is a different document, for a different firm or date, than the one listed;
- the document was not delivered and we cannot fix the problem within 5 business days after you tell us;
- you bought the same document twice by accident, for example in two separate orders.
Redactions, gaps, poor scan quality or OCR errors that come from the original record are not a defect when the document is otherwise the one described, because our Terms explain that documents are provided as obtained.
4.What is not refundable
- Changing your mind after the download became available, or buying the wrong document when the listing described it correctly.
- A document that does not contain the information you hoped for, or that turns out not to be useful to you.
- Our automated summaries, profiles or statistics being incomplete or inaccurate, when the document itself is the one described.
- A document we later remove or stop offering, once you have been able to download it.
- The first document we give a new account at no charge.
- Purchases where we ended your licence or account because you breached our Terms.
5.How to ask
Email info@fdaintel.ai within 7 days of your purchase. Please include:
- your order number (it starts with "ord_" and is on your receipt and in your account);
- the email address you used at checkout;
- which document is affected and what is wrong, with a screenshot if the file won't open.
We aim to reply within 2 business days. We may ask for more details or try to fix the problem first.
6.What we will do
If your request qualifies, we will choose the fairest remedy for the problem: give you a working or correct copy, or refund the price of the affected document through our payment provider to your original payment method. For an accidental duplicate, we refund the duplicate.
Refunds usually reach you within 5 to 10 business days after our payment provider issues them, depending on your bank or card provider. Tax that was charged on the refunded amount is refunded with it. Once a document is refunded, its download access ends, and the licence to it ends: please delete your copies.
7.Chargebacks and payment disputes
If something is wrong with an order, please contact us first at info@fdaintel.ai. We can usually fix it faster than a bank dispute can.
If you dispute a charge with your bank or card provider, we and our payment provider may provide evidence that the purchase was made and the document delivered, including order details, the Terms you accepted, and download records such as dates, times and IP addresses. If we find a chargeback unjustified, for example because the document was delivered and downloaded, we may suspend or close your account and end the licence to the disputed documents.
Nothing in this policy limits any right you have under card-network rules or the law to dispute a charge.
8.Repeated or abusive requests
We may refuse refund requests, and may suspend or close accounts, where we reasonably believe the refund process is being abused, for example through repeated requests after downloading, or requests that conflict with our download records.
9.Your legal rights
If you are a consumer, you may have rights under the mandatory law where you live, for example if digital content is faulty or not as described. This policy does not limit those rights.
